Restaurant Roter Butt in Ueckermunde

Original card: the blackboard was carried to our place, but this meant that the offer was smaller than advertised on the Internet. The vegetarian dish was unfortunately skipped. Still, the food was outstanding. Pleasant ambience, friendly, unobtrusive service. Proud prices, but well worth a visit.

Outstanding restaurant! Every course tasted outstanding, every component of the food was well thought out and a highlight in itself, both individually and in terms of the composition. The price is more than fair for the quality offered.

Since we spontaneously moored directly in front of the Rote Butt with our boat, we stopped here. We have no regrets and are very impressed with the kitchen and the service. The menu is small and clear, which suggests that everything is fresh, regional and seasonal. And thats how it is! The food is a culinary delight and you can see the passion as soon as you set the plates. If you like to drink good wine, you will definitely find a fine wine here. Thank you for the lovely evening! Great ambience, nice staff, tasty cuisine, - really highly recommended if you want to eat delicious and a little upscale. I have a small drawback, however. If you have ordered a table at 6:00 p.m. and you are standing in front of a closed door 5 minutes before 6:00 p.m. For me, that has a GDR taste and doesn't fit into such a great restaurant.

Certainly the most sophisticated restaurant in town, but unfortunately not very convincing for me. I would go back, but more for lack of alternatives to this type of cuisine. The food was delicious. Portions too large for me, but that's certainly very individual. Unfortunately for me there is a lack of love for the product. When choosing the wines, one feels more like a wholesaler card with a little of everything than from selected winegrowers. I lack regionality in the menu. Surrounded by Pomeranian cattle, dairy sheep and the lagoon, only the salmon from the lagoon made it onto the menu. The rest of the menu is overseas with Argentine beef, scallops and anglerfish. Too bad.

Best cuisine on site, super quality, excellent food creations with regional goods, previously approaching and attentive staff, we will be back.

The service and the friendliness left a lot to be desired. Had chosen this restaurant because we value good cuisine, the food tasted good, but unfortunately not anymore. And it was precisely the first that simply destroyed everything. Later discovered the HAFFHUS, where we felt very comfortable. So who can better drive a bit further !!!

Excellent restaurant. We always like to come here again. Very friendly and competent staff, here you feel very comfortable from the beginning. The food is always an excellent culinary delight. For palate friends there is very much a taste bud. The portions are in a good and satisfying Dimension.finden the restaurant suitable for all sorts of occasions - irrelevant whether with a friend, acquaintance or clan ;-) The service is always very busy and thoroughly courteous! I found the bid extremely appealing.

There is nothing to add to the previous reviews: Food and service are outstanding! I had the clear fish soup, which is unreservedly recommended. The quail breast with pumpkin cream is worth a long journey. The friendliness and professionalism of the service would be a star restaurant.

Extremely good service and food. The menu is very clear only on a blackboard, all very high priced. Maybe not something for everyone, even more exclusive. However, I would have as a "Greetings from the kitchen" something else desired as a baguette with two butter, what you get in each mittelklassigen pizzeria.

Today we were able to enjoy an incredibly delicious BBQ on the beautiful terrace. The chef himself was on the grill. The service was also very friendly, competent and courteous. We will be back definitely. The food is highly recommended.

Perfect evening, Many thanks to the team of the "Red Butt". From the front desk to the service to the main dinner, everything was professional and great. The fish cooked perfectly, the risotto unique, we will gladly come again.

We were there today. Price performance is fully given here. We had the most delicious whitsun menu. I can only recommend it.

At first I was turned away and told the restaurant would not serve me food as it was too full with people. This surprised me as I looked around and the inside seating was only half full, as an American and my first time in Germany I just assumed that must be how it works here. I asked for a beer at least because I had a long day working and was offered a beer. The chef must have took notice and he speaks very good english, he offered to serve me food if I was willing to wait a short time, he took my order within 10 minutes. It's my understanding that this restaurant has a small kitchen and I appreciate that they served me, although the other wait staff could use some training on how to deal with foreigners, one woman sighed and was visibly offended that she had to deal with someone who did not speak german. Finally the food was good and the chef took an order for something I believe was not specifically on the menu, I appreciate the accommodation. I ordered a medium rare steak with vegitables and I would order it again.

After more than 35 minutes of waiting, during which the "dining table" was presented, it was not possible to order drinks because the waitress literally ignored us. The restaurant was not really well attended, which is why we should not understand. I don't find this concept professional! Even if the kitchen should be very good, we decided to go to another restaurant. Unfortunately, we could not tell anyone about this decision, as the bar was not manned and the waitress could not be found!
